Public School Year magsisimula sa Setyembre 13, 2021; Nilabas na ng DepEd ang kanilang school calendar at activities para sa (SY) 2021-2022

Nitong Huwebes, nilabas ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang kanilang school year (SY) 2021-2022 calendar at activities, kasama rin dito ang listahan ng mga activities para sa eskwelahan.

Ayon sa DepEd Order No. 29, ipninagbabawal pa rin ang face-to-face classes.

“The conduct of face-to-face classes, whether partial or full scale, will not be allowed unless permitted by the Office of the President,” pahayag ng DepEd.

Kinumpirma rin nila na inaprubahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang rekomendasyon ng DepEd na magsimula ang SY sa Setyembre 13, 2021.

Ang school year ay may kabuuang 209 school days, kasama dito ang Sabado at ang five-day mid-year break at matatapos ang SY sa Hunyo 24, 2022.

“With the compressed school year, the conduct of distance learning activities for learners on Saturday is authorized,” batay sa DepEd.

“Should religious considerations prevent activities on Saturday, they may be conducted on a Sunday. Nonetheless, teachers will not be required to render service on Saturdays and Sundays,” dagdag nila.

Samantala, ang mga private schools, state at local colleges, o universities ay maaring lumihis sa school calendar na ito, sinabi ng DepEd.

“They may begin classes not earlier than the first Monday of June and not later than September 13, 2021,” ayon sa order.

“Nevertheless, any deviation from the school calendar shall be reported to the respective Regional Offices (ROs) in advance,” dagdag nito.
