PSA: MAHIGIT 10M PINOY, NATANGGAP NA ANG PHILSYS ID
Mahigit sampung milyong Pinoy na ang nakatanggap ng kanilang mga Philsys ID ayon sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ni PSA Undersecretary Dennis Mapa, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General, na 10,548,906 cards o 33.7% ng target ngayong taon ang nabigyan na ng ID as of April 30.
Kinilala ni Mapa ang pagsisikap ng kanilang partner agencies at field offices na malaki ang papel mula sa produksyon hanggang sa delivery ng Phil ID Cards.
“PSA recognizes this milestone as an outcome of our collective efforts with partner agencies and the field offices involved in producing and delivering PhilID cards to our registrants nationwide,” saad ni Mapa.
Tinututukan rin ng PSA ang pagsasa-ayos ng kanilang PhilSys mobile application na maaaring gamitin sa mga public at private transactions.
“We anticipate for more Filipinos to receive their PhilIDs. Simultaneously, PSA will continue to bring forward PhilSys services to make government and private services easily and conveniently accessible to the public,” dagdag pa niya.
