Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas, balak magtayo ng green tunnel project para sa lungsod

Inatasan ni Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas City Engineer’s Office (CEO) na magsagawa ng Green Tunnel Project para madagdagan ang green streetscapes sa lungsod ng Iloilo.

“In the absence of trees, this will help soften out concrete roads as a climate change mitigation or adaptation measure,” ani Treñas.

Nagpaplano ang alkalde na magsagawa ng proyekto para sa sustainable development sa iba’t-ibang parte ng naturang lungsod.

“I tasked our City Engineer’s Office to develop a plan for sustainable development in different areas of the city,” saad pa ng alkalde.

Dagdag pa ni Treñas, kasalukuyang fina-finalize kung saan sa mga nasabing plano ang naaayon sa lugar.
