VIRAL: Imbes na fried chicken, customer nakatanggap ng ‘fried towel”

Viral ngayon sa social media ang post ng isang netizen dahil imbes na crispy fried chicken ay ‘fried towel’ ang natanggap nito mula sa isang fast food chain.

Ibinahagi ni Alique Perez sa facebook ang kanyang pagkadismaya sa order na natanggap sa isang sikat na fast food chain.


Ayon kay Perez, nag-order siya ng friend chicken na ipinadeliver nito via Grab Food para sa kanyang anak.

Sinubukan niya na hiwain ang manok pero napakatigas nito kaya binuksan na lamang niya gamit ang kamay at nasurpresa sa ‘deep fried towel’ na natuklasan.

Paliwanag ni Perez, “Just something that frustrated me this late. We had Jollibee delivered via Grab. Ordered chicken for my son, while I was trying to get him a bite, I found it super hard to even slice. Tried opening it up with my hands and to my surprise a deep fried towel.”

Ibinahagi rin ni Perez ang mga larawan at videos ng ‘fried towel’ sa kanyang post.

Hindi nito lubos maisip na mangyayari ang insidente na aniya’y parehong “disgusting and embarrassing.”
Dagdag pa niya, “This is really disturbing… How the hell do you get the towel in the batter and even fry it!?!? Yung totoo?”

“I really thought that the post complaining about weird stuff in their orders were just all made up, now I know that it really happens! So disgusting and embarrassing… to think that you’re even branched in BGC. There’s a first for everything. And this has been the worst first! Calming myself down for this… But WTH.”

“Now I can’t even think of the other chickenjoys na kasama while frying this. Having the same oil for how many hours after frying this FRIED TOWEL.”

“Ano pa kaya kasabay ng mga chickenjoy natin? You may get your chickenjoy pero baka may kasabay nang towel. The essence of the towel contaminated the oil and the batter from the supplier so how many chickenjoys are affected? We won’t know,” saad pa sa post.

Kasunod nito, nagbigay na rin ng pahayag ang Jollibee BGC ukol sa alegasyon ng netizen.

Sa isang statement na inilabas ng Jollibee kahapon, sinabi nito na isasarado nila ang Jollibee Bonifacio-Stop Over branch sa loob ng 3 araw para siguriduhin kung nasusunod nito ang company procedures.

“Jollibee has carefully developed and complied with food preparation systems to ensure that we deliver excellent quality products and customer satisfaction,” ayon sa kompanya.

Nagsasagawa na rin sila ng maigting na imbestigasyon sa nangyaring insidente.
