NBA games return to free TV in Philippines

The NBA is back on Philippine television.
The league on Wednesday announced that select games will now be shown on national free-to-air channel CNN Philippines beginning Saturday.
“Weekends
just got better with the return of live NBA games on national television
through CNN Philippines,” said NBA
Philippines Managing Director Carlo Singson.
“Filipino fans now have a choice
of watching our games across a variety of platforms including television,
computers and mobile devices via social media and NBA League Pass.”
Apart from televising games on weekends, CNN Philippines will also feature highlights throughout its news programs such as Sports Desk and News Night.
Tipping off the free NBA telecast is a duel between the league-leading Boston Celtics and the Golden State Warriors at 11:30 a.m.
Then, reigning MVP Giannis Antetokoumpo and the Milwaukee Bucks hit the road to face the Indiana Pacers on Sunday at 8:00 a.m.
A Western Conference showdown will be featured on Nov. 23 with the Houston Rockets taking on the Los Angeles Clippers at 11:30 a.m. followed by the New Orleans Pelicans and the Utah Jazz on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
The schedule of games this month ends with the Dallas Mavericks going up against the much-improved Phoenix Suns on Nov. 30 at 10:00 a.m.
The broadcast schedule for December will be made available at a later date.
