WV Top Universities 2019

The University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) in Iloilo is the best performing academic institution in Western Visayas this year, according to the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities of the Cybermetrics Lab.

UPV is followed by Central Philippine University, West Visayas State University, University of San Agustin, John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University, University of St. La Salle, Aklan State University, University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos, St. Paul University Iloilo, and Colegio San Agustin Bacolod.

The rankings are based on a university’s web presence, impact, openness, and excellence.

Cybermetrics Lab is a research group under the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas in Spain.
