Nagpalabas na ng executive order si Mayor Jerry P. Treñas na “raising the alert level to ‘Blue Alert Status’ and activation of the Iloilo City Emergency Operations starting [today], Nov. 29.”

Alinsunod umano sa EO 148 Section 16 kaugnay ng Section 445 (a) at (b) 1( vii) ng Local Government Code of 1991, “the City Mayor as Chief Executive is empowered to emergency measures before, during and in the aftermath of man-made and natural disasters and calamities so as to ensure the safety and welfare of the people.”

Ayon sa PAGASA, si Kammuri ay may maximum winds of 140 kilometers per hour (km/h) at gustiness of up to 170 km/h.
