DTI sa online barter trade, ilegal at dapat buwisan

Ilegal umano ang transaksyon sa online barter trade, ayon kay Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez.

“Sa ibang lugar, hindi po allowed ‘yung barter trade. Kailangan regular transactions tayo diyan at dapat may tax na binabayaran,” saad ng kalihim.


Inihayag ni Lopez sa Laging Handa briefing na naglabag umano sa tax law ang naturang gawain.

“Bawal nga po at saka nalalabag nila yung tax lax law diyan; ipapahanap natin ‘yun dahil ilegal po ‘yung activity,” ani Lopez.

“So diyan po, umaaksiyon naman po iyong ating team, composite team ng DTI at ng PNP (Philippine National Police), NBI (National Bureau of Investigation),” dagdag pa nito.

Paliwanag pa niya, sa limitadong lugar lamang pinapayagan ang barter katulad ng Sulu at Tawi-Tawi batay sa Executive Order 64 ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte na inilabas taong 2018.
