Nilinaw ni Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez na tanging ang online business barter transactions lang ang ipinagbabawal ng batas habang pinapayagan naman ang personal barter transactions.
“For personal transactions via barter, not as a regular business transaction, it is allowed and not covered by law,” saad ni Lopez.
“This is wha I meant as illegal, if done in other areas, or if done online and cross border and as a regular business, in the course of trade and not registered, not taxed,” wika pa nito.
