Cash grant na P5,000, maaaring ibigay na ayuda sa lower middle class families

Naniniwala si Agusan del Norte Representative Lawrence Fortun na maaaring i-expand ang Social Amelioration Program ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa mga lower middle income families.

Aniya maaaring magbigay ng one-time unconditional cash grant na P5,000 sa pamamagitan ng Bangko Sentral-authorized money transfer outlets.

Para naman matukoy ang mga benepisyaryo, maaari aniyang gamitin ang database ng SSS-registered kasambahay, PNP SOSIA registry ng mga licensed security guards, CHED, SUC at LUC enrollment lists ng mga indigent and low-income students sa public at private colleges, listahan ng Education Service Contracting (ESC) voucher beneficiaries, Cooperative Development Authority lists ng low-income individual members ng mga kooperatiba at DTI Small Business Corporation lists ng microlending beneficiaries.

Ayon kay Fortun objective at validated na resource ang naturang mga listahan ng mga indibidwal na kabilang sa lower middle income households.

Ang pondo naman aniya para dito ay maaaring kunin mula sa pera ng Bangko Sentral na ita-transfer sa Bureau of Treasury. radyopilipinas.ph
