15-day Modified ECQ sa Iloilo City, inaprubahan na ng National IATF – Mayor Treñas

Inaprubahan na ng national Inter-Agency Task Force ang rekomendasyon ng Iloilo City COVID-19 task force na isasailalim ang lungsod sa 15 araw na Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ).

Kinumpirma ito Mayor Jerry Treñas. Ayon sa kanya, pinaalam siya ni National Task Force against COVID-19 Chairman Delfin Lorenzana na inaprubahan ng IATF ang nasabing rekomendasyon.

Base naman sa IATF Resolution No. 74 ni Office of the Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, epektibo ang MECQ Setyembre 25 hanggang Oktubre 9, 2020.

Sa ilalim ng MECQ, inihayag ng alkalde na ipapatupad ang bagong guidelines na naka saad sa Executive Order No. 149 series of 2020 na kanyang nilagdaan kahapon.

Paliwanag ni Treñas walang border restrictions at patuloy pa rin ang byahe ng mga public transport, pero ipapatupad pa rin ang 1-meter physical distancing.

Ipapatupad din ang liquor ban at 9pm-4am na curfew.

Papayagan ang 30% capacity sa hotels at iba pang accommodation establishments, pero dapat accredited at pinayagan ito ng Department of Tourism, kailangan din ang implementasyon ng MECQ protocols.

Sa Section 2.3., papayagan ang 50% capacity ng dine-in services para sa dining establishments, restaurants, at food establishments, pero dapat nasusunod ang existing MECQ protocols.

Base sa EO 149, pinagbabawal ang mga sumusunod na mga industries at activities:

*sabong;

*pag-operate ng beerhouses at kaparehong establishments na ang primary business ay ang pag-serve ng nakalalasing na inumin.

*children’s amusement industries (playrooms, rides at kaparehong establishments);

*barbershops, salons at kaparehong establishments;

*lahat na establishments na may personal care at aesthetic procedures, services;

*gyms at fitness studios (kasama ang sports facilities);

*testing and tutorial services;

*review centers;

*internet cafes, maliban ang computer at internet services na ginagamit sa educational purposes o sa trabaho;

*drive-in cinemas;

*pet grooming services;

*language, driving, dance/acting/voice schools;

*libraries, archives, museums at cultural centers;
*tourist destinations (e.g. water parks, beaches, resorts at kaparehong establishments);

*travel agencies, tour operators, reservation services at kaparehong establishments;

*tattoo at body piercing;

*live events, kabilang ang mga conferences, seminars at kaparehong gatherings; at

*iba pang unauthorized public gatherings
